Migrant Caught Sneaking into Spain Crammed Behind Car Engine
In a story that would blow Donald Trump’s ever-confused brain, a migrant from Guinea, Africa, was caught by Spanish police attempting to sneak into Ceuta from Morocco by cramming himself behind the engine of a Mercedes 300. It is not unusual for Sub-Saharan Africans to try to sneak through Ceuta as an entryway into the European Union, though doing so by riding in the fetal position behind an engine producing constant fiery explosions is a little less typical.
The migrant in the engine was not the only one sneaking in via the car either. Police then found a second migrant in a cramped space behind the back seat. Neither of the illegal immigrants had papers, and they were only referred to as “TD and AB from Guinea Conakry” in the official statement.
The two were discovered by the Guardia Civil (Civil Guard) border police during a customs check at El Tarajal, which is near the Moroccan border. Reportedly, the driver of the car, which had false plates, appeared nervous to the police, prompting the investigation. The driver and another passenger in the car were both detained by police.
The two illegal immigrants were in poor condition upon their removal from the car. Both had little access to oxygen and were dehydrated, and the immigrant under the hood had been exposed to toxic fumes and sweltering temperatures. They were taken to a local hospital, where doctors stated that, had they been confined much longer, they would have died. Their fate beyond the hospital visit is still unknown.
