This year, the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport celebrates its 10th anniversary. Heading into the 2020 model year, the Outlander Sport is set to undergo some significant changes.

Mitsubishi will reportedly reveal the 2020 Outlander Sport at the Geneva International Motor Show.

Differences Between the Outlander Models: Mitsubishi Outlander vs. Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

Most of the changes in store for the Outlander Sport have to do with the vehicle’s exterior design. This new look will reflect a design philosophy that is, in Mitsubishi’s words, “robust and ingenious.”

The 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will incorporate the brand’s DYNAMIC SHIELD front design concept. The bumper and grille have been given a more rugged look, while the hood has been adjusted to help project the front end more.

The Outlander Sport will also receive new LED lighting. Mitsubishi will relocate turn signals and fog lamps to the ends of the front bumper, while new LED rear combination lamps will provide the Outlander Sport with a sportier look in the back.

The 2020 Outlander Sport is also available in three new dynamic colors. These new hues include Red Diamond, Oak Brown, and Sunshine Orange.

Finally, the Outlander Sport’s Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) system offers more connectivity than ever. The display has also increased in size, from seven inches to eight inches.
