Nissan Creates New Card Game
Are you running out of fun card games to play, especially on road trips? Let’s be honest, there are only so many times you can play Apples to Apples and I Spy before you get bored. As part of its #SoNotMeh campaign, Nissan has created a new card game called Altimatums to make your ride that much more interesting.
The 2016 Nissan Altima has been redesigned, and the automaker is trying to spread the word. The #SoNotMeh campaign takes the design concepts like “Energetic Flow” and “Gliding Wing” that Nissan wants car shoppers to be impressed by and boils them down to the simple goal of exciting drivers behind the wheel. To attract more attention, Nissan announced the launch of its Altimatums card game on Facebook. The deck consists of destinations and Altimatums decks that are placed in the Altima’s cupholders. A card is chosen from each deck to determine where you head next and what you have to do when you get there. For example, a destination card could direct you to “Head to a 24-hour diner,” and then the Altimatum will tell you that you must “Do your best dance solo in front of the car’s headlights.”
The 2016 Nissan Altima ups the game for mid-sized sedans. So we created Altimatums: A Card Game to Make Any Trip Less Ordinary.
