Oh My! Dale Earnhardt Jr. Reveals Sensational New Paint Scheme for 2016
While many other NASCAR drivers have trouble finding sponsorship, it seems like companies are lining up to partner with Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Earnhardt Jr. already announced in September that TaxSlayer.com will be sponsoring his No. 88 Chevrolet SS for one race next season, but that didn’t stop him from revealing yet another paint scheme that will be covering his Chevy in 2016.

A red base color was revealed for Jr.’s car with sponsorship coming from the Axalta coatings company. Axalta previously sponsored the racecar of legendary Chevy driver Jeff Gordon, but since Gordon recently retired, Axalta made the move over to Earnhardt’s racing machine.
The owner of Earnhardt’s race team, Rick Hendrick, has partnered with Axalta for 23 years and the company also signed an extension with Hendrick Motorsports through the 2018 season.

Axalta will be the primary sponsor of Earnhardt’s Chevy for 13 races next season.
Earnhardt Jr. finished the 2015 season 12th in the overall point-standings, but he did pick up three victories to push his career total to 27.
The unveiling of Earnhardt’s new paint scheme occurred in Las Vegas via the @AxaltaRacing Twitter handle. Earnhardt is schedule to attend NASCAR’s awards banquet this Friday, which also is taking place in Las Vegas.
