Only 25 of These 1,000-Horsepower 2019 Yenko/SC Corvettes Are Being Made
You can order one straight from your local Chevrolet dealership
Feel like owning a 1,000-horsepower 2019 Corvette? Now you can, but you’d better hurry. Only 25 are being made.
Specialty Vehicle Engineering, a major GM supplier, is manufacturing the 2019 Yenko/SC Stage II Corvette, based on the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport.
Here’s how it works. First, you’ll order a Corvette Grand Sport from your local authorized Chevrolet/GM dealership. SVE recommends equipping it with the available Z07 package. This will get you Z07 suspension, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes and other high-performance features.
Next, SVE will take over and work its magic on your new Grand Sport. The Grand Sport is no slouch itself, delivering 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft with its naturally aspirated 6.3-liter LT1 V8 engine. SVE will bore, stroke, and supercharge that engine, increasing it to 6.8 liters and enabling it to crank out 850 lb-ft of torque along with the aforementioned 1,000 horsepower.

If you’re not quite ready to deal with 1,000 horsepower, SVE is also making 25 Stage I models that get 835 horsepower.
In addition to the souped-up engine, SVE will also add an array of exclusive exterior features. Among them: “1000 HP Supercharged” badging, Yenko badging, stripe graphics, special wheel center caps, sill plates, and door panels. More Yenko and 1000 HP Supercharged badging shows up inside on the floor mats, steering wheel, seat trim, and center console.
Finally, once your car is finished, you can just pick it up at the dealership.
How much will it cost you? In addition to the price of the 2019 Chevrolet Grand Sport, you’ll pay about $69,000 for the Yenko/SC package with a manual transmission, or $78,000 for an automatic transmission.
