A perfect pairing
The similarities between Chevy and Carhatt haven’t gone unnoticed by the two brands. Janet Ries, the vice president of marketing at Carhartt, notes that both companies have a time-tested legacy of providing durable, high-quality goods to hard-working people. “This truck represents a true collaboration of our brands coming together to create a durable, purpose-built truck for people who not only work hard on the jobsite, but also live a rugged lifestyle,” she commented.
The first Carhartt Silverado HD was unveiled in 2016 at SEMA. Chevrolet U.S. vice president Brian Sweeney was blown away by the positive response, and he’s proud to finally offer a production model to the public.
The 2021 Carhartt Special Edition is a Silverado 2500 LTZ crew cab model that’s sporting the Z71 Off-Road Package, which gives it rugged features like skid plates, Hill Descent Control, and twin-tube Rancho shocks.
This tough truck comes in one sleek color — Mosaic Black Metallic, which is punctuated by a gold pinstripe and Carhartt badging. Other striking exterior features include all-terrain tires, a Carhartt-branded tonneau cover, tow hooks, and plenty of body-color accents, including bumpers, grille surrounds, and inserts.
Inside, the Carhartt Special Edition Silverado HD has even more exclusive styling, including all-weather floor mats emblazoned with the workwear company’s logo, along with branded leather seating in two-tone Jet Black and Carhartt Brown.
