Power Your EV for Free at the Audi Charge & Fly Park in Munich
Audi is a global leader in EV technology and production, so it’s only natural that the German automaker decided to provide a free and convenient place to charge your EV. The Audi Charge & Fly Park, located at the Munich Airport, boasts six 150-kilowatt DC charging points along with 70 22-kilowatt AC charging points. These stats make it one of the planet’s most expansive EV-charging parks.
Safe and Eco-Friendly: The Audi e-tron
Instead of paying for a spot in a crowded lot, if you drive an EV, you can enjoy the VIP treatment at the Audi Charge & Fly park. No matter what make or model of EV or plug-in hybrid you drive, you can schedule a spot at the charging park. On the day that you depart from the airport, simply drop your EV off at the Audi Meteorite, a futuristic-looking black building that’s impossible to miss.
The Audi Meteorite is a sustainable spin on a conventional Audi Experience Center. In addition to its abstract, eye-catching style, its facade boasts a photovoltaic system that provides power to the building.
After dropping off your vehicle, you’ll be offered a free shuttle ride in the new Audi e-tron. Once you return, you can even take the e-tron for a spin, alongside an Audi expert. Of course, you’re not obligated to take it for a test drive — you can simply take it for a test drive at your own convenience at a local dealership. While you’re gone, your car will charge up with sustainable photovoltaic energy — so when you return, you’ll have the peace of mind knowing that your car will have a full battery.
The service will remain in place until December 20.
