As projections for the global automotive market continue to decline, Subaru of America continues to post record sales. November of 2019 saw the automaker achieve several new highs while continuing its industry-defying winning streak.

Subaru’s year-to-date sales increased by 3.6 percent over the same time last year, while monthly sales saw a gain of 0.2 percent. November also marked the 69th consecutive month in which the automaker some more than 40,000 vehicles.

Additionally, last month was incredibly successful for individual models. It was the best November ever for the Forester and the Ascent, which saw year-over-year increases of two percent and 28 percent, respectively. The Forester hit its 76th straight month of over 10,000 models sold, and the Outback isn’t far behind with 69 months of 10,000-plus units sold.

28 percent growth, you say?: People love the Subaru Ascent

As successful as Subaru has been for more than a decade, the team behind the cars is only looking forward. Jeff Walters, Senior Vice President of Sales, said, “As we head into December, Subaru is well-positioned that 2019 will be our 11th consecutive record year in a row.”

But sales aren’t the only thing Subaru cares about, as Thomas J. Doll, President and CEO, Subaru of America, Inc., stated. “With our 12th annual Subaru Share the Love Event underway, we are proud to be a car company that delivers strong business results while giving back to our local communities, both during and beyond the holiday season.”

To that end, the Subaru Share the Love Event will continue through January 2, 2020. If you purchase or lease any new Subaru vehicle from one of over 632 participating dealerships during that window, Subaru of America will donate $250 to a charity of your choice. Their national partners include the ASPCA®, The Make-A-Wish Foundation®, Meals on Wheels America, and the National Park Foundation, as well as nearly 700 local charities.
