Subaru’s March Sales Mark Company’s Best Month Ever
Subaru’s March sales figures are in, and they are something to celebrate for the brand and for the auto market in general. The automaker achieved its best sales ever in March, moving a total of 44,479 vehicles. This marks an increase of 21 percent over Subaru’s March sales from 2013, when the company sold 36,701 units.
But not only did March mark an all-new sales record for Subaru—it was also the 28th consecutive month of sales increases.
Specifically, the Forester and the XV Crosstrek models sold well, strengthening the brand’s overall sales figures. They sold so well, in fact, that Subaru posted first quarter sales exceeding 100,000 for the first time ever.
“We are delighted to have once again delivered record results,” said Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer, Subaru of America, Inc. “2014 looks already set to be our seventh year of consecutive sales growth, with more new product to come.”
