The Cast of Jersey Shore and Their Cars
Anyone who shamelessly followed the cast of Jersey Shore through Seaside Heights, Miami, and Italy knows that there was mad drama. If you’re a fan, you are also probably head over heels now that the show has announced its reboot with the original cast. But of course, the cast has changed over the last decade. They’ve made names for themselves, both in entertainment and business, and have launched their careers. To celebrate the revival, we decided to take a look at the cars these reality stars park in their garages.
The Cast of Jersey Shore and Their Cars
DJ Pauly D
Pauly D has done well for himself over the years, touring the world as a DJ in addition to his time on Jersey Shore. With his success, Pauly picked up three vehicles: a Mercedes-Benz S-Class AMG and a 2008 Cadillac DTS. The Cadillac functions as his everyday vehicle while the Mercedes and his bikes are more for fun.
But according to Pauly, he rarely leaves the vehicles as-purchased: “I have to change the sound system. The music has to be loud and bumping, that’s always No. 1,” he said. “You have to put nice rims on it, no stock wheels. Depending on the car, I would change the exhaust and do engine modifications if it’s more of a sport-type car, too.”
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi
Nicole’s vehicle definitely stands out and screams “Snooki.” Nicole customized her Cadillac Escalade EXT to be a bit more her style: matte black with a hot pink grille, door handles, wheels, and other accents. Since Snooki is known for her petite size, especially considering how much she had to move her seat to drive on Jersey Shore, having a huge three-row SUV like an Escalade is quite the bold statement.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino
With the most cars out of anyone in the cast, Mike has quite the garage. After his success on the show, Mike spent a lot of his money on new vehicles. He has four to highlight: a Ferrari California, Lamborghini Gallardo, Bentley Continental, and Jeep Wrangler Sahara. When asked to pick a favorite, though, it was like choosing his favorite child; he couldn’t do it.
“You can’t really compare the [Ferrari and the Lamborghini] because it’s like comparing a beautiful brunette to a beautiful blonde; they’re both beautiful but different,” he said. “I think the Ferrari is a great car and it drives well, same with the Lamborghini. Actually it’s the same with the Bentley, too. All of the cars are custom and truly amazing vehicles. I drive them all regularly depending on the occasion, but all of them get the same TLC.”
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola
Unlike the boys, Sammi “Sweetheart” doesn’t have a wide collection of million dollar vehicles. Instead, Sammi has one: a white BMW 5 Series.
Before moving out to California, Ronnie picked up a BMW 6 Series convertible. He told DUB Magazine that he wanted a convertible to enjoy the California sun and the gorgeous weather: “In Cali, you can’t have a top on your car,” said Ronnie. “I bought the convertible first and then moved to California, did it backward, you know?” The 6 Series is white with a red interior for a pop of color; Ronnie did also say he doesn’t like black cars because they’re a pain to keep clean. You do you, Ronnie.
Jenni “JWOWW” Farley
Also jumping on the BMW bandwagon, Jenni (also known as JWOWW) is the owner of a BMW X5. This large SUV suits Jenni well, with enough room for her two kids while maintaining the edge and style so synonymous with JWOWW.
Vinny is a little more practical and laid-back than his male costars when it comes to his car collection, but he still knows a beautiful luxury car when he sees one. For everyday driving, Vinny has a 2012 Mercedes-Benz E550. He describes the Mercedes brand as having the style he wants in a car without the excessive flashiness. “When I was shopping around, I saw the 2012 E550 and fell in love with it,” Vinny said. “It’s a luxurious and sporty car, while still being practical and not too over the top.”
As for flashy vehicles, Vinny is actually the owner of the first white 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo in the country. “I was actually looking at 2012 models and they were all gone,” he said. “But the dealership called me up and told me they’ll have the first 2013 in the States and I immediately said yes.” Vinny said he plans on tinting the windows of the Lamborghini, but that will probably be the extent of his modifications.
Deena Nicole Cortese
When Deena purchased her white BMW 3 Series, it caused a bit of drama between the ladies of Jersey Shore. After posting pictures of her new ride, Deena received some backlash from her costar Sammi. Sammi owns a similar-looking BMW 5 Series, also in white, and accused Deena of copying her. The situation blew up on Twitter but eventually, Sammi ended the feud by tweeting, “It’s all in good fun people relax alil.”
