Toyota Hybrids Named Best Cars for the Money by US News
Every year, US News compiles a list of the most affordable vehicles for the money based on consumer feedback and five-year cost-to-own pricing. For 2015, the auto experts chose not one, but two Toyota hybrid vehicles for its list—the Toyota Camry Hybrid and the Toyota Highlander Hybrid.
The Camry Hybrid was awarded the title of Best Hybrid Car for the Money. Reviewers praised the car’s ability to combine comfort with fuel efficiency, thanks to a spacious cabin. The Camry Hybrid is also packed with the latest technology, offering an easy-to-use infotainment system designed to help you stay connected safely while on the road.
Similarly, the Highlander Hybrid was named Best Hybrid SUV for the Money. Among the reasons for this award were high fuel efficiency, its user-friendly infotainment system, and a laundry list of standard features on even the base model.
Toyota currently offers seven hybrid vehicles, including four hybrid-only vehicles in the Prius family. The Highlander and Camry hybrids are joined by the Avalon hybrid to round out the selection. Since the Prius’ release back in 2000, Toyota has made a name for itself as the ultimate hybrid vehicle company, and these new awards from US News show that Toyota hybrids are here to stay.
