Toyota Introduces New Premium Trims for Off-Road Tundra Models

For 2020, Toyota is introducing new luxurious trim levels for its off-road-ready Tundra 4×4 models. The Tundra full-size pickup will be offered with TRD Sport Premium and TRD Off Road Premium trims, bringing its total amount of model and trim configurations to 17.
As Toyota Canada Vice President Cyril Dimitris put it, “It’s easier than ever to find the perfect full-size pickup partner.”
The new TRD Off Road Premium builds on the regular Off Road model, adding Connected Services by Toyota, a suite of features that includes premium audio, navigation, and remote features. You also get a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather seating, dual-zone automatic climate control, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a spray-in bed liner.

It comes with all of the rugged features of the TRD Off Road, such as Bilstein shock absorbers, all-terrain tires, clearance and backup sensors, fuel tank protector plates and various other nifty features that come in handy when blazing trails.
Just as the TRD Off Road Premium builds on the TRD Off Road, the new TRD Sport Premium builds on the TRD Sport, and adds much of the same features as the TRD Off Road Premium does to the TRD Off Road. Are you keeping up?
The top-of-the-line Tundra remains the 4×4 CrewMax Platinum, which is the truck you should pick if you want the most comfort, convenience and connectivity. But if you want high-end luxury and TRD levels of off-road capability, then the two new trims are your best bet.
