Toyota Introduces New RAV4 SE Trim for 2016
Last week at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS), all eyes were on Toyota’s latest hybrid model, based on the RAV4 crossover. Toyota News: Toyota’s Olympic Deal Set to Push Mirai
For the 2016 model year, Toyota has significantly refreshed the RAV4. One of the things to come out of this refresh is a brand new trim level—SE. The 2016 RAV4 SE is a sportier version of Toyota’s compact crossover, broadening the vehicle’s appeal to an even larger audience. The RAV4 SE will feature sporty 18-inch alloy wheels, LED head and taillights, a new bumper and lower grille design, SofTex seats with contrast stitching, a choice between black or black/tan interior colors, paddle shifters, a black headliner, gunmetal accents, and a 4.2-inch color multi-informational display.
These features will be unique to the RAV4 SE model (with the exception of the SofTex seats, which are also available in the RAV4 Limited model). Additionally, the RAV4 SE will come with an optional two-tone paint design with Classic Silver Metallic paint on the lower half of the vehicle, and a choice between Super White, Black Sand Pearl, and Electric Storm Blue on the upper half.
In addition, all 2016 RAV4 models will come with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), which is a new, affordable safety package that will be offered on all models in the Toyota lineup by the end of 2017.
