Toyota has announced the launch of a new podcast called Toyota Untold, which will “[tell] for the first time the story of Toyota through the people who created it, lived it, and are dedicated to moving it into the future.”

Season One of the podcast will feature 10 full-length episodes, the first three of which are already available. They feature a number of prominent Toyota individuals including NASCAR drivers Kyle Busch, Martin Truex, and Denny Hamlin, as well as Toyota VP Jack Hollis.

Toyota will launch the remaining seven episodes in early 2019, which will explore a variety of topics like the origins of the Lexus luxury sub-brand, the return of the iconic Toyota Supra sports car, the Tundra pickup truck’s adventure with the Endeavor space shuttle, and Olympic and Paralympic athletes, which have long been a focus in Toyota’s “Let’s Go Places” campaign.

“We have a rich history and exciting future that we haven’t been able to tell through other communication channels,” said Eric Booth, senior manager of external communications for Toyota Motor North America. “This podcast will allow our customers and the media to gather important information about our company, as well as hear about exciting products and initiatives we’re working to bring to market in the future.”
