US News Names Chevy Tahoe One of Best 7-Passenger Vehicles to Buy in 2019
The 2019 Chevy Tahoe has plenty of room for passengers and gear, but it’s more than just a roomy, well-appointed vehicle. It’s one of the Best 7-Passenger Vehicles You Can Buy in 2019, according to the experts at U.S. News & World Report.

Depending on the seating configuration you choose, the 2019 Chevy Tahoe can accommodate up to nine people, without sacrificing comfort, performance or ride quality. Called a “well-rounded large SUV” by U.S. News writer John M. Vincent, the 2019 Tahoe also was praised for its towing capability — a max of 8,600 pounds is easily handled by the large SUV when it’s equipped properly.
“It holds a spot near the top of our ranking of large SUVS and was a finalist for our 2019 Best Large SUV for Families award. Every Tahoe comes standard with an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system that supports a 4G LTE data connection, an onboard Wi-Fi hot spot, Android Auto, and Apple Car Play,” reports Vincent.
The 2019 Chevy Tahoe is available at three trim levels — LS, LT, and Premier. You have the option of two-wheel or four-wheel drive on each trim. A standard 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission to generate 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The available 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 can be paired to an available 10-speed automatic transmission to deliver 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

Keyless Open and Start, a rear seat entertainment system with Blu-Ray/DVD player, Bose premium nine-speaker audio system, and Adaptive Cruise Control are available features.
