YouTuber Alfie Deyes Surprises Zoella with a Pastel Nissan Figaro for Their Five-Year Anniversary

It’s no secret that when “Zalfie” (YouTubers Zoë Sugg and Alfie Deyes) does something, they pull out all the stops. But little did Zoë know, for the couple’s five-year anniversary, Alfie (PointlessBlog on YouTube) had something exceptionally big planned.
Zoë (Zoella on YouTube) has been drooling over the old-school Nissan Figaro for years. She even tweeted about wanting a pastel model in 2013:

In September, Zoë put together a treasure hunt for Alfie to find his birthday presents. So for the couple’s five-year anniversary this month, Alfie returned the favor—only this time, the final present was too big to fit in the house.
Zoë searched the property top to bottom while following the clues for her treasure hunt. In the end, she ended up outside on the driveway, where there was a note in front of the garage telling her to look inside.
Following the note’s instructions, Zoë pressed the garage-door opener and peeked underneath as it rose. You could see the complete disbelief on her face when she got a brief glimpse of the pastel-blue 1991 Nissan Figaro.
Tears streamed down Zoë’s face as she sat inside the car. She was in shock, even asking Alfie if he had to give it back to someone after the day was out. Alfie explained that he had the car completely restored, with new carpets, seats from a newer Figaro year, and a retro re-wired custom audio system equipped with auxiliary cables and other modern technologies. He also revealed that it’s a soft-top convertible, matching her MINI.
The couple purchased a new Range Rover Evoque last year, as they were in need of a larger vehicle than Zoë’s convertible MINI Cooper and Alfie’s Audi A3. But now that Zoë has her dream car, we will have to see if she picks up that Audi R8 Alfie has been eyeing.
After Zoë received her surprise, Alfie tweeted a throwback to Zoë’s old #SundayCravings. Apparently, he’s been planning this for a long time (relationship goals).
