A repeat victory is twice as sweet, and the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica is basking in the glory of being named to the Car and Driver’s “10Best Trucks and SUVs” list. For the second year in a row, the Chrysler Pacifica has taken top honors in the publication’s Van category.

Learn How: To value your trade

To determine the list, editors of Car and Driver examine a vehicle’s “level of engagement from behind the wheel,” the vehicle’s mission completion, and the overall value, according to FCA.

New for the 2018 edition of the Chrysler Pacifica is the inclusion of Safety Tec as a standard feature on all hybrid and gas models as well as enhanced Uconnect 4 infotainment systems, which feature Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility for seamless smartphone integration.

“In keeping with its mission, the Pacifica moves with aplomb, not overstarched vigor; its suspension is tuned for passenger comfort, while light and faithful steering makes navigating tight parking lots as effortless as knocking back a glass of Yoo-hoo. Even so, the Pacifica proves willing enough to dance down a twisty two-lane road…To all that, the Pacifica also adds an attractive exterior design, ergonomically friendly interior controls, and an infotainment system that’s perhaps the most intuitive and easy to use in all of autodom,” according to Car and Driver.
