2019 Chevrolet Camaro Receives New “Shock” Yellow Exterior Color
The yellow hue will make its debut at the SEMA show later this month
Yellow has continuously been a popular color for the Chevrolet Camaro. Much of this popularity can be attributed to the Autobot Bumblebee from the Transformers franchise. Yellow is such a popular color amongst Camaro drivers that Chevrolet is planning to introduce a new hue of the color to the Camaro lineup.
The automaker recently revealed the Camaro’s new “Shock” yellow exterior option.
The Camaro will make its debut with the color at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Said autoshow takes place from October 30 to November 2.
The new exterior coloration isn’t the only change the Camaro will display during this year’s SEMA show. The 2019 Chevy Camaro SS model on display will also come decked out with a set of new accessories and performance parts.
Among those new parts are a black wing spoiler, a fuel door with exposed carbon-fiber insert, and a Brembo six-piston front brake upgrade kit. Inside, Chevy is adding RECARO performance seats to the Camaro.
“There’s a fresh look for the 2019 Camaro, which is restyled, reinvigorated and offers more choices and new technologies,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet Car and Crossover Marketing. “It’s the perfect canvas for personalization, and the new Shock color and available accessories demonstrate only some of the possibilities customers have to make the Camaro entirely theirs.”
“Shock” yellow joins four other new hues for the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro: Crush, Satin Steel Gray Metallic, Shadow Gray Metallic, and Riverside Blue Metallic. While these colors are already available for the new Camaro, customers will have to wait until early 2019 if they want to adorn their Camaro vehicle with a “Shock” yellow exterior.
