The Nissan Pathfinder is a three-row crossover that stands apart from the crowd thanks to its advanced safety technology, spacious interior and easily rearranged cabin. Here’s a closer look at some of its highlights.

What’s New

Not much changed on the Pathfinder for the 2019 model year. However, it gained new rear parking sensors on certain trim levels, along with more driver-assist features.

Exterior

The Pathfinder comes standard with bold 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, visibility-enhancing LED Daytime Running Lights, and Roof rails, which allow you to carry extra luggage or bulky outdoor adventure gear, like bikes, skis, surfboards, paddleboards, canoes, or kayaks. To make loading the cabin easier, get the motion-activated liftgate. For safer driving in the rain and darkness, opt for the intelligent automatic headlights, Fog lights, and variable intermittent speed-sensitive windshield wipers.

Interior

Inside the cabin, the Pathfinder has three rows of seating — enough to accommodate seven passengers. Thanks to the EZ Flex seating system, the second row tilts and glides effortlessly, allowing easy access to the third-row seating. Plus, you can fold down all of the rear seats to access 79.5 cubic feet of cargo space. No matter how many customers you bring along, you can keep them comfortable with standard Tri-zone automatic temperature control. Upgrade for even more comforts, like leather-appointed seats for the first and second row, leather-appointed door trim, heated front seats, heated outboard second-row seats, and a heated steering wheel.

Performance and efficiency

There’s only one mill for the Nissan Pathfinder — a 3.5-liter V6 that pumps out 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. When equipped with two-wheel drive, it earns 27 mpg on the highway. Its four-wheel drive arrangement delivers an EPA-estimated 26 mpg when cruising on the highway. The engine comes matched with the smooth-shifting Xtronic CVT®
