2020 Buick Encore GX Promises More Options for SUV Consumers

SUVs make up 90 percent of Buick sales here in the United States, so it’s a no-brainer that Buick is offering an all-new SUV next year.
The 2020 Buick Encore GX will sit between the smaller Encore models and the larger Envision and Enclave models. Buick expects this model to benefit them significantly.

“As we look to the future of Buick, the Encore GX positions us strongly as a consideration for those who want to purchase small or compact SUVs,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president, Global Buick and GMC.
In addition to its size, the 2020 GX will provide its owners with new standard safety features. These include Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Alert.
Consumers will be happy to know that this SUV will offer the Rear Camera Mirror available on the Buick Enclave. This gives the driver a clearer view of what is behind them when parking and driving. This coincides with the High Definition Surround Vision camera system, too.
Inside the Encore GX, drivers and passengers will have more room to store their belongings. The cargo space of the GX is actually around 5 cubic feet larger than the regular Encore and only 3 cubic feet smaller than the Envision.

Buick will release pricing information and more specs when dealerships start getting the 2020 Encore GX on their lots in early 2020.
