2020 Jeep Gladiator Earns Best Family Pickup Truck Honor From GAAMA
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator has been winning fans and gaining attention from the second it was revealed. Added to its list of admirers are members of the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association, who just deemed the distinct truck the honor of Best Family Pickup Truck. The award was handed out at the association’s yearly Family Car Challenge.

“The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator earned its title of Best Family Pickup Truck with an exceptional blend of both pickup truck and Jeep attributes that offer functionality and versatility with clever storage solutions and a bed that offers even more utility,” said Daryl Killian, GAAMA president and host of The AutoNsider on News & Talk WAOK, an Atlanta-based Entercom radio station.
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is available at four rugged, well-equipped, ready-for-anything trim levels — Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. The standard 3.6-liter V6 paired to a six-speed manual transmission puts out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
“All Gladiator models are Trail Rated with a badge indicating that the vehicle is designed to perform in a variety of challenging off-road conditions identified by five key consumer-oriented performance categories: traction, ground clearance, maneuverability, articulation and water fording,” reports FCA.

Smartphone integration is seamless with available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2020 Gladiator features an available Uconnect 4 infotainment system with 7-inch touch screen. The Uconnect 3 with 5.0-inch touch-screen display, Integrated Voice Command with Bluetooth, steering wheel-mounted controls, media hub, and remote USB port come standard. Advanced driver assist technologies such as Front Collision Warning-Plus and Blind-spot Monitoring are available.
