The 2020 Lincoln Aviator is set to fly into the Middle East this January, and boy, are its arms gonna be tired. No, the Lincoln Aviator does not actually have arms. Doesn’t have the means to fly, either. Folks. Folks. Seriously. It’s a joke. You know. Joke?

The inability to comprehend classic humor aside, the new Aviator will arrive in the Middle East at the start of 2020, bringing with it the style, technologies, and performance that have thus far made it a hit in North America. Lincoln confirms that its three-row crossover will be available in the Presidential trim — the Middle East’s equivalent to Lincoln Black Label — with a new Flight theme with Luggage Tan and Ebony upholstery.

How Does the Aviator Rate? Reviewers stateside laud the new Lincoln Aviator for performance, luxury, and comfort

“The connotations of flight are intrinsic in the lines of the vehicle,” said Susan Lampinen, group chief designer, Color and Material Design, Lincoln. “Aviator’s iridescent Flight Blue exterior color, for one, complements its flowing lines, while its signature grille is executed in high-gloss black and chrome accents that beckon the eye, while a wraparound windshield completes the aviation-inspired theme.”

Standard for the 2020 Aviator is the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 mated to the 10-speed SelectShift automatic. Lincoln has not confirmed whether the plug-in hybrid Aviator Grand Touring will be available in the region.

With the 2020 Aviator Presidential, drivers will get the Adaptive Suspension with Road Preview, which automatically lowers to make climbing in easier as part of the Lincoln Embrace system. The Aviator features standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 and available Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus, the latter of which adds on features like Evasive Steer Assist and Active Park Assist Plus.

In terms of luxury, standout features include the available 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D Audio System, 30-way Perfect Position Seats with Active Motion and massage, and additional Presidential interior themes Destination and Chalet.
