2016 Lincoln MKX Leaked Ahead of Tuesday Reveal
Lincoln is going to be showing off the 2016 MKX first thing Tuesday morning, but you won’t have to wait until then to get a full-on look at the redesigned crossover. Thanks to some well-timed sleuthing from FordInsideNews.com and a once-live-now-killed page at Lincoln Canada, you can drink in the 2016 Lincoln MKX in its full glory today.
Thankfully, the 2016 Lincoln MKX borrows quite liberally from the MKX Concept that the luxury brand rolled out in China, and the result is an exceptional new model that should go a long way toward continuing Lincoln’s good fortunes in 2015.

With the 2016 Lincoln MKX, we can expect a lot of the same accoutrements that have graced new and improved Lincoln vehicles including HID lights with LED accents, the Panoramic Vista Roof that stars in the latest McConaughey ad, a 360-degree camera, and available Bridge of Weir/Deepsoft Leather seating. Expect the inclusion of Revel audio systems, but don’t be terribly surprised if SYNC 3 gets passed over for MyLincoln Touch.

Another image may indicate that the MKX will have an optional wireless charging tray, but that’s entirely speculation at this juncture (more wishful thinking than anything, really).
Expect the 2.7-liter EcoBoost from the 2015 F-150 as an optional powertrain good for something like 300 horsepower output. Thanks to some digging, FordInsideNews maintains that the MKX will carry a probable $41,900 starting price.
Expect a more complete outline of the 2016 Lincoln MKX on Tuesday after Lincoln’s scheduled NAIAS press conference, which you can read all about right here at The News Wheel.
