Lincoln has announced that it’s inked a 10-year deal with Revel® that will make audio systems like Revel Ultima™ the premium choice for its new vehicles moving forward.

The partnership will ensure that Lincoln is the only automotive brand to carry Revel’s audio systems when they are first integrated into the next-gen Lincoln MKX next year.

“The Lincoln collaboration with Revel is the next step in our commitment to build vehicles that exceed luxury expectations,” said Matt VanDyke, global director, Lincoln. “Revel is synonymous with the finest home speaker systems, and it’s that exceptional audio experience we want our Lincoln drivers to enjoy.”

The Revel loudspeaker systems intended for future Lincoln vehicles will not be a one-size-fits-all audio affair: Revel’s team will employ different tuning, calibration, and numbers of speakers for each individual Lincoln model to ensure an entirely unique aural experience.

The Revel audio systems for Lincoln vehicles will feature QuantumLogic Surround®, which ensures clearer and more dynamic sound.

Drivers will be able to select three different listening modes—Traditional Stereo, Audience, and Intimate—from the MyLincoln Touch™ screen in the center console.

Lincoln says it will reveal more about the Revel audio systems that will feature in its future vehicles closer to the reveal of the next-gen MKX.
