BTS Arrived at the Billboard Music Awards in Hyundai Palisades Before Winning Big
Hyundai knew all eyes would be on the boys of BTS last night at the Billboard Music Awards, which is exactly why it offered the global brand ambassadors two shiny Palisade SUVs as their ride to the show. The immensely popular K-pop group just released their new album Map of the Soul Persona, which debuted at #1, and they performed their new single with Halsey, “Boy With Luv,” live for the first time at the show. On top of all that excitement, BTS won the award for Top Duo/Group over Dan + Shay, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, and Panic! at the Disco.
The partnership between Hyundai and BTS is working well for the automaker online, as the group has one of the fiercest and most loyal fan bases you’ll find on social media. The global Twitter account for Hyundai posted a tweet with a photo of BTS in front of two Palisades and it quickly got over 70,000 retweets and more than 155,000 likes, with many fans replying with their excitement about their appearance at the Billboard Music Awards.
Back in March, fans across the globe could see the faces of BTS on giant screens courtesy of Hyundai and its marketing campaign for the Palisade. Meanwhile, the @Hyundai.Lifestyle Instagram profile has consistently been posting images and videos of the boys since November, hyping up the Palisade even further.
Unfortunately, the Palisade didn’t make its way on stage during the performance of “Boy With Luv,” but there’s no doubt it’ll continue to make appearances near the red carpets of additional award shows. In the meantime, you’ll just have to look at these photos of the Palisade and imagine Jungkook, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, V, and RM driving the eight-seater SUV. (✿◠‿◠)
