Cadillac Previews the XT4 to Celebrate the Oscars This Weekend

In honor of the 2018 Academy Awards (aka the Oscars) this weekend, Cadillac is unveiling three new commercials which present a teaser of the XT4 model, while giving a brief tribute to the past and future of the brand.

According to Cadillac, the three different TV spots will show different facets of the XT4. The first commercial is a revamped version of the brand’s “Dare Greatly” platform that it first introduced during the 2015 Oscars. This 60-second blurb will incorporate the XT4 as well as Super Cruise and its luxury subscription service BOOK.

The next two commercials emphasize the futuristic focus of the brand (focusing on hands-free driving technology), as well as feature the XT4 set to the Bruno Mars hit “Uptown Funk.” Check out this third commercial below.

This year marks the fifth consecutive year that Cadillac has been the official automotive partner and vehicle provider of the Academy Awards. Renée Rauchut, Cadillac director of marketing, expressed enthusiasm about the brand’s contribution to this renowned award show, as well as to the auto industry’s advancement. “Having been featured in more than 10,000 films and television shows, Cadillac has always played a significant role in the arts. We’re excited to show the world what the future holds for Cadillac.”

This weekend’s commercial preview of the XT4 is just a foreshadow of the actual reveal scheduled for March 27th, at Cadillac House, a few days before the brand displays it at the New York International Auto Show. The auto show kicks off on March 30th in NYC, so make sure to stop by for a glimpse of this exciting new crossover, if you happen to be in the area.
