“A stylish exterior and an appealing aesthetic wraps this practical, fun-to-drive crossover,” writes Rachel Rothman, Good Housekeeping Institute Chief Technologist and Head Engineer. “You’ll enjoy a confident, responsive drive that stands out on city streets and highways alike.”

Each new vehicle was evaluated according to its safety systems, handling, value, technology, and design features. The testers also took each contestant on a 5,000-mile road journey that included highways, test tracks, and city environments.

Testers also evaluated each vehicle for convenience. That included things like the amount of cargo and storage space, ease of car seat installation, comfort of the cabin, and ease of folding down the seats. The Chevy Blazer was lauded for its intuitive infotainment system, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as standard.
