The Hyundai Elantra has a couple iterations–like the efficient Eco trim or the luxurious Limited trim, but the brand-new Sport upgrade is the most promising.
For $21,650, buyers can get an Elantra Sport with a standard six-speed manual transmission, a 1.6-liter Turbo-GDI engine that produces 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, multi-link rear suspension, higher spring and damper rates, improved brakes and steering, and exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels. If that’s still not sporty enough for you, you can toss in a seven-speed DCT and paddle shifters for a mere $1,100 extra.
The inside of the 2017 Elantra Sport boasts sleek detailing like red contrast stitching, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and other racing-styled touched.
