In 2015, New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap blew up, took over the radio with multiple hit singles, and officially became a hip-hop superstar.
The only logical next step in the rap star’s career was to invest his earning into some fancy luxury rides, most notable of which is his Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507, which he recently shared a photo of via his official Instagram account.
The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 comes equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine good for 507 horsepower and it’s capable of reaching a top-speed of 176 mph. This coupe also features a vented aluminum hood, forged 19-inch wheels, and a multicolored leather interior.
Wap’s Mercedes-Benz coupe may not be as fast as fellow rapper Schoolboy Q’s new McLaren 12C or as expensive as retired boxer Floyd Mayweather’s $3.5 million Bugatti Veyron, but Wap is still doing pretty well for himself, when you consider his album just came out in September and he still has plenty of music left to make in his young career.
The decision to invest in a luxury coupe might also put rapper’s fans at ease, since he was reportedly hit by a car earlier this year while riding his motorcycle, or maybe he just needed something to drive during the winter season.
He is from New Jersey after all.
