The partnership follows Ford’s recent collaborations with heritage American clothing brands, including a Super Duty project with Carhartt. This time, the company is leaning into the outdoor lifestyle image closely associated with the Bronco nameplate and Filson’s long-standing reputation in rugged apparel and gear.
The teaser image shows the rear section of the upcoming Bronco, including a spare tire cover carrying both Bronco and Filson branding over a metallic green finish. The image also reveals pronounced fender flares and aggressive off-road tires that appear similar in size to the 35-inch tires offered through Ford’s Sasquatch package.
Ford has not yet disclosed technical specifications, pricing, or powertrain details for the upcoming model. The company only confirmed that the Filson edition will launch first as a four-door Bronco with what it describes as a “premium feel,” likely incorporating Filson-branded design elements inside the cabin.
A New Collaboration Built Around the Bronco’s Outdoor Identity
The Bronco and Filson partnership is not entirely new. Back in 2020, the two companies worked together on the Ford Bronco x Filson Wildland Fire Rig, a concept vehicle created to support wildfire response efforts and wildlife conservation initiatives.
According to Motor1, that project remained a one-off concept, though Ford later donated two similarly equipped Broncos to rural firefighting crews. Filson also introduced a limited-run apparel capsule tied to the initiative, with proceeds supporting the related conservation effort.
The newly teased Bronco differs from that earlier collaboration because it will become a production model available to customers. Ford indicated that sales are expected to begin in early 2027.
Ford Keeps Technical Details and Pricing Under Wraps
At this stage, Ford has revealed very little about the mechanical configuration of the Filson Bronco. No engine lineup, trim specifications, or equipment list has been announced ahead of the June 3 reveal.
Current Bronco pricing provides some context for where the new model could fit within the range. A 2026 Bronco Badlands equipped with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine starts at $58,320, while the version fitted with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 begins at $61,115.
The publication also reported that the Bronco Raptor currently carries a base MSRP of $83,080. Ford itself has not commented publicly on where the Filson edition will sit within that pricing structure.

Ford Continues Expanding Lifestyle-Focused Vehicle Partnerships
The Filson project arrives shortly after Ford’s collaboration with Detroit-based workwear company Carhartt on a special Super Duty truck. These partnerships reflect the automaker’s broader effort to connect specific vehicle lines with established American lifestyle brands.
In the case of the Bronco, Ford appears to be emphasizing the vehicle’s outdoor and adventure-oriented image through Filson’s Pacific Northwest identity. The teaser released by the company focuses entirely on styling details rather than performance specifications, reinforcing the premium branding approach ahead of the full unveiling.
More information about the Ford Bronco Filson edition is expected when the model is officially revealed on June 3.
