“It’s small but mighty: Fold the rear seats and front passenger seat of a GMC Terrain down flat and you can fit in an IKEA purchase up to 8 feet long. Put up the rear seats and you can squeeze in up to three narrow car seats of boosters,” writes Parents magazine writer Karen Cicero.
The 2019 GMC Terrain is available at six trim levels — SL, SLE, SLE Diesel, SLT, SLT Diesel, and Denali. All but the SL trim offer the option of either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The SL trim is only available with FWD.
Standard safety systems on the 2019 Terrain include Hill Descent Control, StabiliTrak, Passenger Sensing System, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The innovative Teen Driver system, also standard on the two-row SUV, helps parents monitor young driver’s behaviors as well as set limits on speed while their teens are behind the wheel.
