The 2019 Honda Accord and 2019 Honda Civic have been named to Car and Driver magazine’s “10Best” list for 2019, reaffirming the Accord as the most successful car in the history of the award. It’s now the 33rd time the model has been featured on the list.

Introduced not much more than a year ago, the tenth-generation Accord was widely hailed as one of the top family sedans in the automotive industry, bar none. It combined turbocharged powertrains and sophisticated features with striking style and a spacious interior.

What’s more, the 2018 model introduced a new hybrid version, adding efficiency to the Accord’s pleasant performance. The 2019 model is largely the same, though one could say the 2018 Accord had such a head start that the competition would have had to catch up an extreme amount to knock it out of the 10Best list.

The Honda Civic is also no stranger to the list, having now been figured seven times. Offered as a hatchback, coupe, or sedan, the Civic offers excellent value for the money and has carved out something of a niche for itself in the enthusiast sector. For drivers on a budget, the Civic Si, Civic Type R, and now the new Civic Sport all offer aggressive styling and truly engaging performance at an attractive cost.

In fact, in the case of the Type R, you would be hard-pressed to find a better-performing hot hatch in all of the United States. Clearly, the 10Best award is well deserved.
