Honda once more dominated the annual Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards, earning more category wins than any other brand.

The awards, which are the result of a year-long process of evaluation and testing of almost all new vehicles sold in the United States, strive to provide customers with an overall vehicle recommendation based on consumer reviews and ratings, vehicle sales information, vehicle pricing, and the 5-Year Cost-to-Own data.

A remarkable six 2020 Honda vehicles were recognized in the 2020 Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards, with the Honda Civic topping the compact car category for the sixth time in a row — a feat worthy enough that KBB editors dubbed the car the “benchmark for the compact car segment.”

The Honda Accord, CR-V, and Odyssey were named the top vehicles in the midsize car, compact SUV, and minivan categories, respectively. All of them have won their respective categories five times in the last six years and received great praise from KBB, which called the Accord the “quintessential family car” and lauded the CR-V’s comfortable and roomy interior.

The sixth Honda vehicle to be recognized was the 2020 Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid, in the plug-in hybrid car category. KBB commended it for its “impressive” range, top-notch driving dynamics, and segment-leading cabin comfort and quietness. Even more impressive is that this is the Clarity’s third straight appearance in the awards, which is as long the car has been sold. In other words, the Clarity has never existed and not been featured in KBB’s Best Buy Awards. Now that’s something worth bragging about.
