Easily one of the most exciting pieces of technology on display at the show

Today marked the official start of the Consumer Electronics Show, commonly abbreviated as CES. This annual trade show, held in Las Vegas, showcases the latest advancements and technologies that some of the world’s leading innovators and companies have developed over the past year.

One such technology that will be on display this year has four wheels and seven bars on its grille. FCA will once again showcase the 2018 Jeep Wrangler during the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show.

Modernizing an Icon: 2018 Jeep Wrangler updates

The Wrangler will be right at home during the event, as it possesses a number of intuitive technologies new to the iconic model. For example, the latest Jeep Wrangler comes equipped with the award-winning fourth generation of FCA’s Uconnect system, which is paired with an 8.4-inch display.

That isn’t the only major upgrade the newest Wrangler receives. A multi-touch gesture interface makes interacting with the Wrangler a far simpler task, and the new Wrangler is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Four separate Wrangler vehicles will be on display during the event. These include a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, a Mopar-modified Jeep Wrangler Sport, and two Jeep Wrangler Rubicons.

Convention guests will even be able to interact with the brand-new Jeep Adventure Reality app. The app allows consumers to configure the Wrangler of their dreams using an iPhone or iPad.
