Prioritizing safety tech, a powerful performance, and a dependable reputation is a great strategy for car buyers. But along with the fancy gadgets, a roaring engine, responsive performance, and praiseworthy quality, drivers also want comfort, convenience, and amenities that make a vehicle’s interior a space they can appreciate whether they’re on the road for 10 minutes or for 10 hours.

A brand’s lineup is pretty consistent with interior quality, features and design. Narrowing down which brand boasts well-equipped, comfy interiors are the experts at U.S. News & World Report. Making their list of the Vehicle Brands with the Best Interiors in 2019 is the rugged, capable, and quality-equipped interior of the Jeep brand.

“Jeep is well-known for off-road performance, but they also do a great job with their vehicle’s interiors. In short, when you’re in a Jeep, you’ll know it, with many interior touches that reflect the brand’s heritage. Not only are their designs well-thought-out, but the materials they use are also top-notch and durable,” according to U.S. News & World Report writer John M. Vincent.

The user-friendly Uconnect infotainment systems in the Jeep lineup helps driver stay connected easily on the road and off the beaten path. With available navigation assistance and voice command, drivers won’t steer from the course or sacrifice their safety by taking their hands off the wheel to make calls or entertainment selections.

“Jeep interior scores range from the 2019 Jeep Compass with a 6.9, to 8.5 for the new-for-2020 Jeep Gladiator. Though the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee has been around with the same basic design for years, Jeep has done an admirable job of updating its interior. It still scores a respectable 7.6 on our scale,” Vincent adds.
