Joe Rogan’s 1965 Corvette Stingray Visits Jay Leno’s Garage
On most episodes of “Jay Leno’s Garage,” the former late night host interacts with auto mechanics or regular guys who happen to own remarkable cars. In the latest installment, though, Leno welcomes a fellow comic to the show: Joe Rogan, best known now as a UFC commenter.
When the two go for a spin, the video plays a little bit like a hyper-masculine version of Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” with Jay and Joe discussing martial arts, muscle cars, and classic boxing movies.
But the main topic of conversation is Rogan’s gorgeous restomod 1965 Corvette Stingray, which he had customized by Steve Strope of Pure Vision Design.

Take a look:
During the test drive, Rogan says his next build will be a 1969 Chevelle, but that his next modern vehicle purchase might be the new Z06, which Leno also praises for its performance (he should know—he’s been pulled over in one before). Jay attributes the current Corvette’s greatness (and the increased quality of General Motors’s output since the automaker’s restructuring) to the fact that the engineers rather than the marketers are now running the show at GM.

Jay also tells a pretty funny Marlon Brando story towards the end of the video, so make sure to stick around for that.
