Lincoln Continental Earns Spot in Robb Report’s “Best of the Best” Issue
In the June issue of Robb Report magazine, the 2017 Lincoln Continental was named 2017 Best of the Best Luxury sedan in the Wheels category of the publication’s 29th annual “Best of the Best” issue.
In her writeup, Robb Report contributor Laura Burstein says
Lincoln’s full-size flagship sedan doesn’t try to be sporty. Instead, it provides comfort and elegance, what Lincoln executives tout as “quiet luxury.” Its design is both classic and modern, with a tasteful mesh front grille, jewellike LED headlights, and a high beltline with integrated, electronically operated door handles.
The top-of-the-line Black Label Edition is powered by a 400 horsepower three-liter V6. Its visually distinguishing features include 20-inch aluminum wheels and exclusive exterior colors such as Chroma Elite Light Brown, a striking metallic bronze. The interior design themes include the Thoroughbred, which incorporates black leather upholstery and Chilean maple trim. Black Label Edition owners have access to complimentary concierge services.

Robb Report, which covers development in everything from cars, aviation, and marine modes of travel to watches, fashion, and haute cuisine, covers six different categories in its annual Best of the Best issue: Wheels, Style, Journeys, Leisure, Home, and Wings & Water. These categories encompass everything from “The 6 Menswear Pieces that You Need to Have in Your Wardrobe” to “7 Superyachts Making Waves” to “4 Investment Whiskey Choices Over $1,000,” the latter of which is particularly fine reading if you want to feel bad about your love of Bulleit Rye.
Earlier this year, the Continental was also named to Autotrader’s list of the “10 Best Car Interiors Under $50,000.”
