Lincoln is on a quest to become a globally beloved luxury brand, and the Middle East — specifically the six countries comprising the GCC — is key to that objective. Capitalizing on the market’s love of luxury and refinement, Lincoln launched its all-new Nautilus crossover in the United Arab Emirates this spring, demonstrating the brand’s direction in terms of style and technology to a new customer base.

“The new Nautilus joins the stylish MKZ, the elegant Continental, the compact MKC, and the full-size Navigator for a lineup of vehicles instantly recognizable as Lincoln,” said Sarah Rae, director, Lincoln Middle East. “Nautilus brings with it a new turbocharged engine lineup, an array of sophisticated technologies designed to inspire driver confidence, and we’re excited to bring it to our customers in the region.”

Unique to the Nautilus is a new Lincoln Presidential theme, Gala. The Gala themed Nautilus is influenced by the New York Met Gala, boasting Nouveau Armour aluminum accents that enhanced Carmine and Onyx leather upholstery. Lincoln Presidential, the regional equivalent of the Lincoln Black Label brand, also offers the Chalet and Thoroughbred themes for the new Nautilus.

The GCC Lincoln Nautilus is otherwise practically identical to the version sold in North America. It offers standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 technologies such as Blind Spot Information System, Pre Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane-Keeping System, available Evasive Steer Assist and Lane Centering, Lincoln Embrace, Ultra Comfort seats, either a 13- or 19-speaker Revel audio system, and the choice of a standard 250-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder or an available 335-horsepower 2.7-liter turbo.

Lincoln recently opened its first dedicated standalone dealership in the United Arab Emirates — also its largest vitrine facility in the world — and the Navigator and Continental were awarded Best Large Premium SUV and Best Midsize Executive Sedan, respectively, in the 2019 Middle Easy Car of the Year Awards.
