Mexico to Get New 2019 GMC Sierra in Early 2019
The all-new 2019 GMC Sierra will arrive in Mexico sometime during the first quarter of 2019.
For the Mexican market, the 2019 Sierra will offer three trim levels: the SLE, the luxurious Denali, and the new off-road AT4. The AT4 will replace the All Terrain trim.
The SLE will be available only with a regular cab, while the Denali and AT4 will also offer a crew cab version.
In Mexico, the Sierra will be available with three different powertrains. The SLE will come with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that puts out 355 horsepower and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The AT4 will offer the same engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Denali will carry a 6.2-liter V8 that puts out 425 horsepower and comes with a new 10-speed automatic transmission.

The redesigned Sierra is nearly 400 pounds lighter than the previous version while offering more cargo volume and a new high-strength steel cargo box.
It’s also equipped with tons of new features and new technologies. The Denali comes with exterior chrome accents and 22-inch wheels, while the AT4 features dark design elements and a 2-inch suspension lift. The Denali and the AT4 both come with a new MultiPro six-position tailgate. They also offer deluxe tools like the ProGrade Trailering system, a Head-Up Display, and a rear camera mirror.
The 2019 GMC Sierra is being assembled for the Mexican market at GM’s plant in Silao, Mexico.
