“The Enterprise CarShare program offers a convenient way for college students, faculty and staff to enjoy an extended test drive of a wide range of Nissan vehicles and to experience ‘Innovation that excites’ firsthand,” said Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, U.S.A., Nissan North America, Inc, of the program.

This new partnership comes as a result of new research from Enterprise that shows that renting a car has a strong influence on the driver’s choice to buy a car, especially in younger drivers. About 25% of renters who responded to Enterprise’s survey said that a positive rental experience made them start car shopping, with 62% saying that they liked their rental car so much that they considered buying the same car.

This was obviously good news to Nissan, which is taking advantage of Enterprise’s growing college campus presence to introduce students to its vehicles. Then, following graduation, Nissan is offering a New College Grad Program, which offers no-haggle pricing plus all applicable incentives, as well as improved financing rates and a 90-day payment deferring option.
