For its tribute to the popular film trilogy, OmniAuto added a flux capacitor, side pipings, and a slew of other details that would make the film’s director Robert Zemeckis smile, even though he said there won’t be any remakes of the classic films, at least while he is still alive.
Earlier this week, The News Wheel reported that Ford might be including carbon fiber wheels with its new GT, but as an optional feature. The United States will be allocated 100 of the 250 Ford GTs produced and potential buyers will have to apply for the right to own one of these beasts.
The Ford GT comes with an approximate $400,000 price tag, as well as a twin-turbo V6 engine capable of more than 600 horsepower.
Needless to say, the new Ford GT will be capable of traveling much faster than just 88 mph.
