[Photos] 2018 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate Black Edition Bows in L.A. (Spoilers: It’s Only Available in Black)
GMC this week lifted the cover off its new 2018 Yukon Denali Ultimate Black Edition. Now, before you go thinking that this particular special-edition Yukon Denali is draped in hot metallic fuchsia, let us break the bad news that it is not. It is, however, black. Very black. Hence the name.
“The Yukon Denali has always made a bold and powerful statement, and the Ultimate Black Edition takes that expression to a new level,” said Stu Pierce, senior marketing manager for GMC Trucks and Full-Size SUVs. “The Ultimate Black Edition provides our customers seeking the ultimate in performance and refinement with an opportunity to express themselves with a new and unique style.”
So what’s it got? Well, the 2018 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate Black Edition adds 22-inch black-painted wheels with chrome inserts, polished exhaust tips, chrome mirror caps, and premium carpeted floor mats. It’s also equipped with the Open Road Package, Enhanced Security Package, Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Automatic Braking, Power-Retractable Assist Steps, power sunroof, and rear-seat entertainment system.
Oh, and did we mention that it only comes in black? Specifically, Onyx Black—the sole available exterior hue.
To help celebrate the Yukon Denali Ultimate Black Edition’s debut at the L.A. Auto Show this week, GMC is teaming with local soft-serve ice cream shop Little Damage to provide guests with an Ultimate Black flavor that comes topped with Denali chrome chocolate chips and service in the shop’s black activated charcoal cones. Sounds…tasty?
