[PHOTOS] Hyundai Introduces Europe-Only i30 N Fastback
The good news: Hyundai just unveiled its nifty new high-performance i30 N Fastback in Europe. The bad news: The car won’t be available in the United States anytime soon.
The i30 N Fastback will come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 246 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Buyers who opt for the Performance package can see those numbers jump up to 271 horsepower and an overboosted 279 lb-ft of torque.
In its 246 horsepower version, the i30 N Fastback should go from 0 to 62 mph in 6.4 seconds. With 271 horsepower, it should accelerate to the same speed in 6.1 seconds.
The i30 N Fastback will feature an N Grin Control system that gives drivers a choice of five driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, N, and N Custom.

On the exterior, the i30 N Fastback features a distinctive N grille and front bumper with red lining, along with dual exhaust and an integrated rear spoiler with gloss-black accenting.
Inside, the i30 N Fastback will offer a unique steering wheel and red N-specific stitching on the seats, and gear shift. Buyers have a choice of two 8-inch touch-screen infotainment systems, and both will include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility. The i30 N Fastback will also be equipped with an array of Hyundai SmartSense active safety features like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Driver Attention Warning.
The introduction of the i30 N Fastback wraps up the rollout of Hyundai’s high-performance N Line, which also includes the Veloster N and the i30 N hot hatch.
