Ram Introduces New 2015 Ram Laramie Limited at Chicago Auto Show
Just minutes ago, Ram Truck unveiled the all-new 2015 Ram Laramie Limited trim at the Chicago Auto Show, for pickup drivers looking for something a little more premium. In fact, Ram goes so far as to call it a “benchmark in truck opulence.” The trim will be available on 1500, 2500, and 3500 models.
2015 Ram Laramie Limited Exterior
On the outside, the new Laramie Limited trim boasts a body-color front fascia complete with fog lamps and a rear bumper to match. If you’re into something really shiny, or you’re a magpie, you can opt for an exterior package that applies bright chrome to both the front and rear bumpers. The most notable update to the exterior, however, is the new billet port grille.

The tailgate has also been specially designed with a 20-inch-wide chrome “RAM” badge (in case you have terrible eyesight).
The Ram Laramie Limited trim sits on 20-inch forged multi-surface aluminum wheels. Painted silver accents the polished surface. If you believe bigger is better, go with a 2500 or a 3500 model, and you’ll get multi-surface 20-inch fully-polished aluminum, six-spoke wheels.
And on the first day, Ram said, “Let there be light.” The Laramie Limited trim sports a quad headlamp design with a bi-functional halogen projector system in a dark background. It’s got fifteen amber LEDs for the park, turn, and position lamps, as well as three more amber LEDs for the side markers. The experts even snuck a Ram shield logo into the housing, as well as the Ram name into the inside of the outer lens for a “visually entertaining…piece of hardware.” The tail lamps get 15 red LEDs as well as three red LEDs for the side markers.
Even if you don’t opt for the extra chrome on the bumpers, you’ll still get your fill via the side profiles, where the body-side moldings sport chrome accents. The word “Limited” has also crawled onto side features like door handles, mirrors, wheel-to-wheel side steps, and window moldings.
You’ll get your choice of seven exterior colors for Ram’s luxury trim option: Bright Silver Metallic, Brilliant Black, Granite Crystal Metallic, Maximum Steel Metallic, Pearl White, Red Pearl, and True Blue Pearl.

2015 Ram Laramie Limited Interior
Step inside the Laramie Limited model to see what luxury is really all about, say the folks at Ram. We have to hand it to them—the inside is pretty nice. It’s got everything from subtle stitching accents to black leather to pin striping.
Let’s start with the leather. The cockpit is all-black leather, including Black Natura Plus premium leather for the seats. Meanwhile, Ram has used graystone leather piping for the pinstripe stitching peaks. The interior also boasts a French-stitched full-leather lid (with Limited badge) for the center console. Underneath the lid are the USB, auxiliary, and 12-volt outlets. The console also features holders for mobile devices of all sizes, as well as tambour wood sliding doors to conceal them. Leather continues to the steering wheel (from the 2 o’clock to 10 o’clock positions; let’s not get too crazy here). High-gloss Black Argento completes the rest of the steering wheel.
To be honest, lots of cows died to make this truck. The leather continues to areas such as the column-mounted shifter (2500 and 3500), the A-pillar and B-pillar handles, the front and rear door trim, the top of the door panel, and more.
The Liquid Graphite-faced gauges are encompassed by Liquid Chrome Rings (diamond knurled), which is meant to mimic modern watches. The Laramie Limited also boasts an 8.4-inch Uconnect system with standard navigation. Remote LED lighting fills the inside door handles, and there is soft footwell lighting conveniently placed beneath the dash.
Even your feet will ride in style with the solid Black premium Berber carpet floor mats. The carpet even gets its own theme: silver-lined, to match the steering wheel and center stack, among others.
And More
The 2015 Ram Laramie Limited also comes with a few other nifty features. Among them are navigational radio, remote start, air suspension (1500 only), power adjustable pedals with memory, wheel-to-wheel side steps, backup camera, heated steering wheel, front ventilated and heated seats plus heated rear seats, and the RamBox on certain models.
Interested in getting your own Laramie Limited? You won’t have to wait long. The Ram 1500 Laramie Limited pickup will be available as early as next quarter, while the 2500 and 3500 models will be available in the third quarter as 2016 models.
