Scion Announces Pricing for iM and iA
Back in April, Scion unveiled production models for its upcoming iA sedan and iM hatchback, designed to appeal to younger drivers looking to save money without sacrificing style and power. Last month, the two were named in Forbes’ list of 13 Hottest New Cars for 2016. With the models’ release date fast approaching, Scion has revealed the most important piece of information yet—the price.
2016 Scion iA Pricing
First off, the Scion iA will be priced at $15,700 MSRP for the manual version, and $16,800 for the six-speed automatic.
Standard features for this price will include a rearview camera, keyless entry with push-button start, power side mirrors, a 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system, and a low-speed pre-collision system. The Scion iA will be powered by a 106-hp 1.5-liter engine which gets 41 mpg on the highway.
2016 Scion iM Pricing
Second, the Scion iM will start at $18,460 MSRP for the manual transmission, and $19,200 for the CVTi-S model. Standard features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic temperature control, color-keyed heated power folding side mirrors, and Hill Start Assist. Powering the iM will be a 1.8-liter four-cylinder motor good for 137 horsepower and yielding 37 mpg on the highway.
As with all Scion models, numerous accessories are available to help personalize both the iA and the iM. Both models will be covered by Scion’s three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
Please note that the abovementioned prices do not include Scion’s $795 delivery, processing, and handling fee.
