In the new social media campaign from FCA, actress Kathryn Hahn is practicing social distancing while showcasing the high-quality and spacious interior of the award-winning and popular Chrysler Pacifica minivan. The model, which is manufactured in Ontario, Canada, serves as Hahn’s well-appointed getaway from her family as she shelters-in-place during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The campaign titled “Pacifica Mom on Quarantine, Episode 1” has been released on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and on the automaker’s YouTube channel.

“In a time when social distancing practices have become the new normal, Chrysler brand and Hahn had to take a challenging approach during the production of our most recent collaboration,” said Olivier Francois, chief marketing officer, FCA. “Given our production’s top priority was to ensure the health and safety of all involved during the one-day production, we filmed entirely on an iPhone equipped with a remote feed inside the Chrysler Pacifica, and Kathryn worked on set with a small crew of two and relied on a tablet inside the vehicle to allow for directional feedback.”

The setting of the campaign was a private residence in Los Angeles. During the shoot, the residents had vacated the premises. The small production team followed the recommended precautions; they wore gloves, masks, and disinfected the Pacifica and production equipment. Everyone also practiced social distancing.

No Kid Hungry and FCA

With each Chrysler Pacifica sold through the end of summer, FCA will help provide meals to children in need through its partnership with No Kid Hungry. The affiliation was originally launched in March when schools shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“To date, FCA has provided more than 4.2 million meals to children, families, and seniors across North America, including more than 2 million meals exclusively for children,” FCA reports.
