2015 Outback PricingSubaru has announced pricing on the all-new 2015 Subaru Outback model ahead of their summer debut. The redesigned fifth-gen model of the World’s First Sport Utility Wagon® (yep, that’s a registered trademark, folks) takes the aspects that have made the Outback a smash hit in generations past and adds technologically-advanced new features to improve safety, off-road capability, and comfort.

The 2015 Subaru Outback 2.5i starts at a base price of $25,745 (destination and delivery fee included) and offers standard features such as X-Mode, Hill Descent Control, and Hill Start Assist.

All Outbacks come standard with the Lineartronic continuously variable transmission with paddle shifters, which has helped boost the 2015 models’ fuel economy up to (manufacturer-estimated) totals of 25 mpg city/33 mpg highway/28 mpg combined and would make it the king of the midsize crossovers for efficiency.

The Outback 2.5i Premium begins at $30,845 (including fees) and adds Perforated Leather-Trimmed Upholstery, 18” Alloy Wheels, Harman/Kardon® Surround 12-speaker system and 576-watt amp, Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Power Rear Gate with memory.

The line-topping 3.6R Limited brings back the 3.6-lioter six-cylinder BOXER engine and adds a high-torque CVT to improve gas mileage. HID low beam headlights with auto height adjust and dual stainless exhaust tips are also standard.

All Outback models benefit from features such as Subaru STARLINK and Active Torque Vectoring, which provides more neutral cornering.
