Powertrain options and other added features
The 2020 Jeep Wrangler is offering three powertrains for the Sport and Rubicon: the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder with ESS, the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 with ESS, and the 3.6-liter with ESS.
The Sahara is getting four powertrain options: the 2.0-liter with mild-hybrid eTorque assist, the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 with ESS, the 3.6-liter with ESS, and the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with mild-hybrid eTorque technology. The 3.6-liter with ESS is only available on the MTX.
The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 with ESS has late availability on the three models. The engine gives you the chance to choose diesel power for your Wrangler and produces 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.
To have better visibility on the road, LED fog lamps and headlamps are options on the Wrangler Sport. If you opt for the 8.4-inch Uconnect® system with navigation, which is compatible with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, auto high beams will now be included in the Advanced Safety Group.
The 2020 Wrangler is still comprised of lightweight, high-strength aluminum doors. To lower the weight, there’s also a magnesium swing gate. The Rubicon and Sahara both have Sky One-touch powertop available to easily open the roof.
