1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo II RS in Original Condition Needs New Owner
The last Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Final Edition has been sold and Mitsubishi has no plans to build a new Evo, but that doesn’t erase the car’s prestigious heritage or the fact that some of the older models are some of the most coveted classic sports cars in the world.
If you’re on the market for a used car and love old-school Mitsubishis, you’ll definitely want to take a look at this gem that just surfaced: a fully original 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution II RS that, despite being 21 years old, only has 46,600 miles on the odometer.
Why Buy Used? The advantages of forgoing that new car smell
It had only a single owner who meticulously tracked its service history in a log book, which not only verified the mileage but should also give whoever buys the car greater peace of mind to about its history.
The Evo II RS is a modified version of the Evo II that features an engine tuned to produce 256 horsepower, tweaked suspension, aerodynamic improvements, a 30% stiffer chassis, wider tires, and bigger 16-inch rims.
The seller, a Hong Kong-based dealer, is asking HDK 150,000 for it, or a little over $19,000. Don’t let the location discourage you, though, as the car comes with an export certificate that should make it easy for any future owner to bring it home. That may seem a bit much for a 1995 vehicle with 46,600 miles, but the car is no doubt worthy of being a collector’s item and likely to be valued at even more in the future.
