2015 Kia Soul EV: There’s An App for That
Kia is promoting its new plug-in all-electric 2015 Soul EV with the release of a free iPad app. The app lets users digitally investigate the car’s new features, through videos and interactive photo galleries. [ See a video of the Soul EV below ]
A picture of the 2015 Kia Soul EV highlights various aspects of the car’s exterior, such as the available color combinations and the location of the charge port. Users can then click on the features for more details. The same can be done with the Soul’s interior, where users can see the cabin’s layout and click on features such as the gauge cluster and the start button.
The app also provides additional information about the Soul’s use of eco-friendly materials which enabled the car to receive the auto industry’s first UL Environmental validation for bio-based organic carbon content.
Finally, demo videos show users how the Brake Assist System, Virtual Engine Sound System, and Electronic Stability Control function. There is also a seven-minute video, in which an unnamed Australian man extols the virtues of the Soul EV while he takes it for a test drive in Seoul, Korea. (Get it? A Soul in Seoul? Ha!)
